Eran

Ladder. This poem shows a chain of perceived oppression from the child to the mother, from the mother to her husband, from the male laborer to the capitalist, from the capitalist to the government. It tries to show that inequality can be in a way tolerated if appreciation is present from those in the upper world of each level.

Anak king Indu

Ali porke matua ka
Ika kakung pamintuan
E ku pu rugu inyad
Ining kakung kebaitan

Mas dakal ku akakua
Kingsa king abibiye ku
Kekayung aduang Ibpa
Nanu’ng akarapat ku

Makantini yeng lawen:
Wa, pákandung ku pa pu
Dapot ing biye ning balen
Yang kaku pung susundu

Indu king Asawa

E porke mágobra ka
Aku kekang tatalnan
Sesesen ke’ing anak ta
Kabang ati ka kilual

Nu da ku pulutan, Deng
Nung pera e mu ku dian
Uling obrang pambale
Mu ing kakung kagiwan

Makantining isipan:
Dedependi ku keka
‘Pot ing kekang piulian
Sesesen alang bayad

Asawang Lalaki king Amu

Ali porke keka ku
Aldawan mánintunan
Luran mu’ing pangatau
Bang ‘tin ku mung ipakan

Aruy, matdas ku busal
Nung sipan yu ku rugu
Ala ku pang kapital
Mibait ku’ng kalulu

Makantini mung baluan:
Keka ku mángabiyayan
‘Neng abli mu daratang
Ibat king kekeng pagal

Amu king Kapanibalan

Keko pin ing upaya
Agyu yu kung ‘papate
Ita ‘stung kekong gewa
Dakal mágobrang mate

Nung ining telakad ku
Ali yu ne suportan
‘Sara ku nea’ siguru
Iko karelang dalian

Makantini na mu pu:
Iko’ing pekamasikan
‘Pot tau, misasadsad
Uling kakung susuelduan
